Back at the end of 2013, a group of keen local cyclists got together over a curry to discuss the possibility of meeting regularly to ride and so the idea of Royston Cycling Club was born.
After an inaugural meeting to share ideas a committee was elected to get things properly set up.
Royston Cycling Club was founded to enable people to meet and ride together on a regular, non-competitive basis.
We organise Club rides every Sunday morning (weather permitting), setting off from Royston’s Market Hill car park at 9am.
These are for roughly 2 hours duration, usually split into three/four groups according to abilities, and covering around 25-40 miles. Other days and longer distances are occasionally organised and are announced here and via the Forum.
You are welcome to come and join us on a Club run before committing to becoming a member – so why not come down and see what we’re about.
